Striker likened to Luis Suarez: These are next three Leeds academy aces destined for first team

Mallik Wilkes

There is little doubt that Wilkes has a big future ahead of him.

He is one of the most promising young strikers that the Whites academy has produced in recent years and has the potential to become an exciting Championship or even Premier League forward in years to come.

A first-team spot beckons for Wilkes and his current loan spell at Accrington Stanley shows that the 18-year-old has the goals to back up the fact he was recently handed a new contract.

He has scored three goals in nine appearances across all competitions for Accrington this term, adding to his senior football education.

Wilkes already has one first-team appearance for Leeds when he played against Sutton United in the FA Cup last season, but the less said about that, the better.
