Stuart Dallas not expected to play for Leeds United again after injury latest – sources
Leeds United forgotten man Stuart Dallas is expected to leave the club at the end of the season, sources have told Football Insider.
The 32-year-old is out of contract in June after his last extension in July 2021.
Dallas is a huge fan favourite at Elland Road after seeing his career transformed by ex-manager Marcelo Bielsa.
However, his last appearance came under Jesse Marsch in a 4-0 defeat against Man City almost two years ago.
He was substituted in that game with a leg fracture and is yet to return to senior action.
It is believed Dallas is facing a battle to play at the top level again after multiple injury setbacks.
‘No timeline’ for Dallas comeback at Leeds – he’s set for release this summer
The Northern Ireland international has returned to individual training but there is no timeline for his comeback and he now faces an uphill battle to play for Leeds again.
Dallas has played 267 times in total for the Whites after joining from Brentford in 2015.
He can play as a winger and full-back on both flanks as well as in central midfield, earning him a reputation as one of the most versatile stars in English football.
The 32-year-old has played 62 times for Northern Ireland, scoring three – but made his last appearance in March 2022.

His Leeds teammates are battling for promotion back to the Premier League and sit top of the Championship after their victory over Millwall last time out (17 March).
The Whites are next in action against Watford on Friday (29 March).
