'Such a talent...Wonderful' - Exclusive: Everton tipped to sign charismatic star

Michael Brown has claimed that Everton will have “money to spend” on Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder hailed the 24-year-old for his “wonderful” ability, and suggested that he is exactly the kind of charismatic talent that Carlo Ancelotti will be looking to attract in the upcoming transfer window.

Football Insider revealed earlier this week that the Toffees’ boss is eager to snap up the Villa captain, and sees him as a player who he can build a side around.

And Brown believes a deal is not an unrealistic prospect.

Speaking to Football Insider, he said: “Everton, this year, are going to have money to spend.

“They’re going to want to strengthen, every player is going to be linked, and that’s why Ancelotti has gone there. He wouldn’t have taken that on if he didn’t have a belief that he was going to be given money to improve that squad.

“He’s such a talent, Jack Grealish, so attractive to the eye with that low centre of gravity and how he turns. He’s got a wonderful range of shooting and that little bit of cheek, little bit of charisma on the football pitch.

“There will be suitors for him.”

Grealish has been a standout performer for his boyhood club this season, registering nine goals and eight assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.

He has recently come in for criticism, however, after being involved in a car crash following an evening at a friend’s house, despite the ongoing nationwide lockdown aimed at arresting the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
