The 19-year-old Norwegian centre-back replaced Jozo Simunovic in the first-team after the 4-0 loss to Hearts and has barely put a foot wrong.
Formed a solid partnership with Dedryck Boyata which only came to an end with the Belgian’s injury, he will now team-up with the man he replaced, Simunovic.
Even though the Hoops have signed defenders in January, Ajer deserves to keep his place and become a mainstay of the side going forward.
