Celtic’s greatest ever team – the Lisbon Lions – weren’t content with taking Europe by storm, they also won the league title in exciting fashion as well.
Two goals from legendary winger Jimmy Johnstone were enough to give the Hoops the point they needed to clinch the title in a mudbath at Ibrox, and clinch the first domestic treble in the club’s long and illustrious history.
A few weeks later they went off to Lisbon to play Inter Milan in the European Cup Final and the rest is history.
