This is how much Mohamed Salah earns as ‘huge’ Liverpool bonuses revealed – Stefan Borson
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah rakes in more than £20million a year due to the significant bonuses he earns.
That is according to former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson, who exclusively told Football Insider the Egypt international could be getting an extra £7m on top of his deal at Anfield.
Salah agreed a new contract with Liverpool in April last year, extending his stay on Merseyside to June 2027.
However, the 33-year-old has been linked with an exit in recent months after criticising Anfield chiefs publicly.
Salah is expected to make the move to Saudi Arabia if he is to leave Arne Slot’s side, but his future remains up in the air at this moment in time.

Why Mohamed Salah earns ‘very significant’ bonuses
Salah is believed to be on £400,000 a week at Anfield, ensuring he earns £20.8m a year.
The winger also rakes in significant bonuses through image rights and sponsorship deals after becoming one of the most famous players in the world.
However, the Sunday Times Tax List revealed Salah paid £14.5m in tax over the past year, placing him 81st overall in the UK.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson discussed the Egyptian’s income and whether he will be able to earn as much in Saudi Arabia.
“I think it depends on Saudi Arabia really,” said Borson.
“By the way, £21m is probably not the extent of his entire salary. We know that from his service company.

“You can see what his image rights are worth and they’re very significant.
“He makes a huge amount on image rights, which tend to be about 20 per cent of a player’s salary if you’re a player who can actually justify image rights and Salah certainly can.”
How much Salah is earning on top of Liverpool salary
Borson revealed Salah will be earning millions on top of his salary at Anfield after being one of the Premier League’s top performers over several years.
“He’s probably getting another maybe £4m or £5m on top of his salary through image rights from Liverpool and other places,” said Borson.

“He’ll be getting probably £2m through sponsors and that type of thing, so he does very well. He’s very well paid.”
Salah’s form has dipped for Liverpool this season, having registered seven goals and eight assists in 28 appearances.
