Thomas Frank might be more careful about choosing his words after Eberechi Eze stole the spotlight in a resounding Arsenal victory.
Leandro Trossard is in talks over a new contract at the Emirates Stadium, and he showed the supporters what he can still bring to the team, opening the scoring in fine fashion after 36 minutes.
From there, it was completely and utterly the Eze show, grabbing a hat-trick against the Gunners’ bitter rivals on Sunday, 23 November, sending his team six points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Eberechi Eze comes back to haunt Tottenham after missed transfer
Spurs were put through the wringer before the 27-year-old decided to join up with Mikel Arteta, with Frank’s side eventually splashing their money on Xavi Simons, who has yet to impress.
Eze, on the other hand, now has five goals and two assists to his name since arriving at the Emirates, and the Lilywhites will have been desperate to turn back time following his masterclass on Sunday.
There might not have been so much focus on the attack had the opposition manager not spoken about him and the potential transfer ahead of the game, and Frank will wish that he hadn’t.
In a pre-match press conference, Frank was asked about the summer transfer situation by a reporter, and he responded by asking, “Who’s Eze?” and while that gained a laugh, it completely backfired.

Things could have been very different had Spurs won the race for Eze’s signature, but once again, the Lilywhites were second best against their rivals in quite dramatic style.
It gets even worse for Frank’s team because, not only does the defeat leave them ninth in the Premier League, but it also increases the Gunners’ chances of lifting the Premier League title.
Man City lost 2-1 to Newcastle United on Saturday, 22 November, which allowed Arteta’s side to extend their lead at the top of the table, and that will really rub salt into the wounds in North London.
The ceiling is extremely high for Eze this season, especially now that he is in a team fighting for multiple trophies, and he has only developed further in the absence of Martin Odegaard.
