Thomas Henry's agent shares big update on Celtic and Rangers transfer battle
Rangers and Celtic target Thomas Henry has offers on the table from clubs in all of Europe’s top leagues, his agent has exclusively told Football Insider.
The French striker, 26, is in demand after starting the new Belgian season with a deluge of goals for his club Leuven.
Now his UK representative Paul Tait has told Football Insider that Glasgow giants Rangers and Celtic will need to fend off interest from Europe’s elite to get a deal done this month.
This site broke the news yesterday that Henry is a top target for Champions League hopefuls Rangers as well as Premier League duo Southampton and Watford.
He is also wanted by Celtic as well as clubs on the Continent including Gent and Serie A new boys Venezia and Bordeaux.
His UK representative, Paul Tait, confirmed a host of clubs across Europe are chasing the striker and that he is evaluating the offers on the table.

“There are a number of clubs who have expressed an interest in signing Thomas before the transfer window closes,” he told Football Insider.
“My business partner Dusan has received offers from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the UK for Thomas, and he will consider all his options before making a decision on his future.”
Henry was already a target for leading sides after his impressive 2020-21 campaign, which yielded 21 goals and seven assists from 33 matches in all competitions.
But that interest has been intensified after his goal-laded start to the new campaign with three strikes from three league matches, all 1-1 draws.
Henry has an outstanding record at Belgian top-tier outfit Leuven, where he has scored 45 times in 78 appearances as well as supplied 12 assists.
The French forward has a contract at Leuven that runs until the summer of 2023 after signing an extension in January of last year.
