Three Celtic players who must be axed for clash v Ross County: 25-year-old among trio needing demotion
Olivier Ntcham
Ntcham has had a solid start to his Celtic career so far since his summer move from Man City but last night’s performance was nowhere near good enough from the club’s ‘marquee signing’.
The Frenchman, alongside Stuart Armstrong and Scott Brown in a midfield three, offered nothing as PSG strolled through their visit to Glasgow with remarkable ease.
21-year-old Ntcham couldn’t get close to Adrien Rabiot as the PSG man controlled the tempo of the game and cut Celtic open time and again with his range of passing.
The £4.5million summer signing would likely find it much easier against Jim McIntyre’s Ross County, however after last night’s vanishing act, maybe a short spell on the bench is required.
He’ll prove his quality over time at Celtic but last night’s no-show is a big blot on his copybook early in his Parkhead career.
In other Celtic news, the club have launched a £1.5million bid to sign a midfielder from Premier League giants.
