The Ivorian midfielder made a surprise start in the recent 3-1 win over Hearts, and kept his place for the game against Kilmarnock.
Unfortunately for the Hoops the 20-year-old failed to lay a glove on Killie midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu, who ran the game practically unopposed.
Perhaps two games in a week was too much for a player still getting used to Scottish football, but he did not show enough in the match to show that he deserves to keep his place in the first-team.
A spell on the substitute’s bench is looming.
