Lustig has been a great performer for Celtic over his career in Glasgow but is facing some serious competition from Anthony Ralston for the right-back spot.
He has bags of experience and has pretty much done it all for Celtic but his performances have dropped off a little recently and the emergence of Ralston puts his place under even more pressure.
The Sweden international has easily seen off the threat of Christian Gamboa (remember him?) but the same can’t be said for Ralston.
A slight meniscus tear suffered by Ralston might give Lustig a stay of execution in the first-team but it’s only delaying the inevitable
