With Moussa Dembele almost back to full fitness, this season might take a familiar twist for Griffiths.
The Frenchman was Rodgers’ first-choice at centre-forward last season and it’s unlikely much has changed since then.
Griffiths started the season well although hasn’t quite looked himself in recent games.
Benched for the Hibs game with Dembele and Odsonne Edouard leading the line in a 3-1-4-2 formation, there’s still a possibility Griffiths and Demebele can both be slotted into the side together but if Rodgers reverts to his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation, it might be lights out for Sparky.
