Fan favourite axed in Rodgers 4-4-2: Celtic best possible XI v Rangers
GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE
Scott Bain (Goalkeeper) – Should keep his place in the side despite the return of Craig Gordon to full fitness, Bain hasn’t put a foot wrong since joining the Hoops and should do well when called upon
Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Should replace Jack Hendry, the Swede hasn’t had the best of seasons so far but on his day he is more than capable of doing what is required of him in the biggest game in Scottish football
Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – Should keep his place in the side and Hoops fans will be hoping that he has a far better game than he did in his last performance against the Gers where he struggled badly
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – Should keep his place at the heart of the defence, the 19-year-old has been excellent for the Hoops this season and he should be more than dependable at the back for the Bhoys
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Should return to his favoured left-back role after playing in a more forward role against Hamilton, should be a vital player in both defence and attack for the Hoops
