Three axed from side which failed v Kilmarnock: Celtic expected XI v Partick
GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE
Dorus de Vries (Goalkeeper) – Expected to keep his place in the side as he pulled off some good saves last week to stop Killie extending their lead, does face a challenge from Scott Bain now so will have to keep playing well
Anthony Ralston (Right-back) – May well make his return to the first-team after proving his fitness in recent Youth Cup matches, would be replacing the cup tied Jack Hendry
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – Has recovered from the injury picked up against Killie, thankfully for the Hoops as he is currently their best centre-back and has been in good form
Jozo Simunovic (Centre-back) – Could made his return to the first-team in place of the injured Dedryck Boyata, will be interesting to see how his partnership with Ajer fares
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – May well return to his favoured left-back role after playing further forward in the defeat to Kilmarnock, an experiment which didn’t really work
