Three players nearing end of contracts that Rangers must swoop for in January
Kenny McLean
The Aberdeen midfielder started out as a youth player at Ibrox before being released as a youngster and heading to St. Mirren.
McLean joined Aberdeen in 2015 and has previously been linked with a return to Rangers.
The 25-year-old formed a solid partnership with Ryan Jack at the heart of the Aberdeen midfield and could possibly do similar at Ibrox.
McLean has previously confirmed that he’ll be leaving Aberdeen in the summer so a pre-contract with Rangers wouldn’t be out of the question.
If McLean does head to Ibrox it will be the second time in two seasons Rangers have signed one of Aberdeen’s central midfielders on a Bosman.
