What else can be said about the 20-year-old, who has already captained his club and national team at such a young age? Interestingly, he played as more of a winger that full-back against Zenit, so that may be where his future lies.
No matter who big a fan of the club he is, it’s unlikely that Tierney will want to spend the rest of his career with the Hoops, but that’s a long way off yet, as he will no doubt spend a few more seasons at least with Celtic.
