The former Accrington Stanley star just hasn’t got going at Rangers, even though he is a constant mainstay of the first-team.
Windass came to Ibrox with a lot of hype but has disappointed with only the briefest of glimpses of his ability.
He was pushed out to left wing this season after spending much of his game time last year in central midfield but equally as dismal there.
If Rangers can claw back some money for the 23-year-old it would probably be best for everyone to part way.
Windass probably hasn’t done himself many favours with some of his comments at times too.
