Alnwick is a good goalkeeper.
He’s not really let the side down either really, he’s just a bit redundant sat on Rangers’ bench in 95% of games.
With Liam Kelly, Aidan McAdams and Robby McCrorie all coming through, Rangers have a wealth of young goalkeeping talent and players like Kelly would arguably be better served with the limited game time Alnwick gets.
It’s unlikely Alnwick is going to want to play backup forever too so a parting should be in both side’s interests.
