The Gers already have agreements in place for the signings of Jamie Murphy and Jason Cummings when their loans end in the summer but as things stand 22-year-old Goss is set to return to QPR in May.
Since arriving at Ibrox in January, Goss has been a revelation alongside Greg Docherty in the centre of midfield and securing his signing long-term would be a huge step in the right direction.
There’s a slight complication with a reported buy-back clause held by former club Manchester United however the German-born midfielder needs to be high on the list of priorities for the Gers in the summer.
