Defender breezing it in top-flight: Three players Rangers must snap up in summer

James McArthur

Rangers

The boyhood Rangers fan is out of contract in the summer with Crystal Palace and a return to Scottish football would be perfect for the 30-year-old.

If the Gers can secure the signing of Sean Goss it might make McArthur’s signing unnecessary but if QPR are unwilling to do a deal, McArthur would be a solid substitute.

With plenty of experience in the Premier League and 32 Scotland caps, McArthur has been around the houses before but the opportunity to star for the Gers could be too good to turn down.

A free agent in the summer, McArtur isn’t going to be a budget-busting move and is a proven quality midfielder.
