Three selection headaches Christiansen must solve before Leeds opener v Bolton
Who to play at left-back?
Yet to complete a deal for a new left-back, Christiansen must now consider his options in order to replace Charlie Taylor after the academy product joined Premier League side Burnley.
Gaetano Berardi seems the obvious choice, after impressing in the absence of Taylor last season. But former APOEL Nicosia manager Christiansen has other options.
If he wants to use Berardi on the right side of defence, the Spaniard could bring youngster Tyler Denton into the first team. He has also used Vurnon Anita and Luke Ayling at left-back during pre-season.
But his best bet would be using Switzerland international Berardi to fill the void.
