Striker can terrorise defences: Three rising stars who must follow McCrorie into Rangers first-team

Canadian midfielder Cammy Palmer only moved up to the Under-20 squad this season but has really impressed with his performances so far.

The 17-year-old played alongside Niko Kranjcar in the recent bounce game against Manchester United Under-23 and had Rangers’ coaching staff raving about his performance.

Palmer faces huge competition for a first-team place in a position Rangers have a surplus of talent in however and will likely have to bide his time.

With a raft of promising midfielders coming through at the Gers, Palmer could quite feasibly find himself in a Rangers first-team midfield alongside other homegrown talent like Jamie Barjonas, Liam Burt or Jack Thomson.

In other Rangers news, Ryan Jack has opened up on the abuse he received during his international debut at Pittodrie.
