Senior player must be axed: Three Rangers changes McInnes must make if appointed for Ross County clash
Solve attacking problem
Anyone who has watched Rangers over the last 12 months will have noticed a recurring problem – whenever the Gers play with two strikers then one of them always goes walkabout.
Miller was almost always the one guilty of this – turning up wherever takes his fancy, whenever it takes his fancy – and it leaves Rangers struggling going forward at times.
If the Gers are going to play with someone given the creative freedom to roam wherever he wants to then it needs to be someone who isn’t also supposed to be the focal point of the team’s attacks.
Let it be Carlos Pena or even Niko Kranjcar but whatever it takes, don’t make it Kenny Miller.
