Three Caixinha outcasts that must still be sweating over Rangers future
Andy Halliday
Fair play to Halliday.
Plenty of players would have accepted a nice easy jaunt to the Championship or maybe a lesser-Scottish Premiership side but Halliday has gone to the other side of the continent to try and prove himself.
Halliday has made 10 appearances for Qarabag since moving to Azerbaijan but hasn’t been a regular starter on loan.
There’s no doubting he’s as committed to Rangers but there are serious doubts about his ability.
With the likes of Graham Dorrans, Ryan Jack, Jason Holt and arguably even Jamie Barjonas ahead of him in midfielder – and Jordan Rossiter if he ever gets fit – Halliday’s long-term future most-likely lies away from Ibrox.
