Three senior Rangers players fighting for futures after manager search is over

Carlos Pena

Rangers

Pena has scored just one less Premiership goal than Celtic’s duo Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele, but his performances are very worrying for someone who cost the Gers so much in the summer.

The Mexican doesn’t look able to cope with the rigours of Scottish football after moving from Chivas Guadalajara which was a move that was clearly pushed by Caixinha’s previous links to the Central American nation.

The 27-year-old midfielder has struggled for fitness, struggled for form and now he is likely to be struggling to keep himself at Ibrox in the future.

He has been completely out of the squad for the last three matches, with caretaker boss Graeme Murty clearly not looking like a fan of the player.
