28-year-old must be sold: Three things we learned from Everton in first Allardyce win

Allardyce’s teamtalk must have been great

The first-half was arguably a contender for the worst half of Premier League football this season, not just for Everton but compared to every game so far. Both sides were woeful, and fans wouldn’t have been blamed for leaving at half-time.

However, the Toffees came out in the second-half looking like a completely different team. They were no longer misplacing every pass or looking off the pace and they were able to cruise to victory.

With the new manager making no changes, you have to think that it was his words that inspired the team to make such a dramatic transformation.
