Senior player must be axed indefinitely: Three things learned about Leeds in win v Bolton
O’Kane must not play again this season
Leeds fans were shocked when Heckingbottom named O’Kane to start yet again in the midfield after a series of poor performances.
The 27-year-old senior player had a decent first-half, but after the break he was back to his error-prone self and was largely to blame for Bolton’s 53rd minute goal when he completely lost who he was marking at a free-kick.
O’Kane really should be axed indefinitely and not play again this season with Heckingbottom having plenty of other options to play in the centre of midfield.
In other Leeds United news, Garry Monk has made a very bold claim about the Whites and has delivered his verdict on the threat of relegation.
