James Forrest deserves a better crack of the whip
Forrest came back into the side after Patrick Roberts’ injury ruled the Englishman out for 4-6 weeks and again put in a solid performance.
The Scotland star barely put a foot wrong against Bayern and his fantastic pass set McGregor up for the Hoops’ second-half equaliser.
He’s never going to be a Roberts-type player who has a certain element of show about him and just quietly gets on with his work with minimal fuss.
With Roberts out injured, Forrest should get a consistent run of games over the next month or so to impress all over again.
