Stuart Armstrong was brought back too soon
Armstrong made his return from injury against Bayern Munich but the midfielder looks as though he came back too soon.
Against Bayern, and in Saturday’s League Cup semi-final with Hibs, the former Dundee United ace looked well off the pace before ultimately being substituted.
With players like James Forrest and Tom Rogic in reserve there was no pressing need to bring Armstrong back so quickly and it’s unlikely the midfielder will be involved against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Wednesday.
