Roberts is a good player with bags of potential – there can be no disputing that – but sometimes the on-loan attacker seems to be above criticism for his performances.
Too often the fan favourite can vanish out of games for long spells or not offer enough defensively but doesn’t get the flak others do in similar situations.
Roberts will most likely go on to play at a level far higher than the Scottish Premiership but for now he needs to find more consistency in his game.
