Rodgers doing no favours with tactics: Three things learned about Celtic in win v Ross County
Celtic won’t find consistency by always changing shape
The Bhoys lined up with a back-three against Ross County as Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata and Nir Bitton made up the Hoops’ defence.
On Wednesday against Paris Saint-Germain, the Hoops will almost certainly revert to a back-four with Tierney and Lustig at full-back.
Rodgers’ fascination with changing Celtic’s shape is doing them no favours when it comes to going into European games.
Next weekend at Hampden the Bhoys will probably change again and – although Celtic are winning domestically – the regular tactical tweaks could have a hand in some of the heavy European defeats suffered under Rodgers.
