Attacker will struggle to get back in XI: Three things we learned from Celtic v St Johnstone

Stuart Armstrong looked more like his usual self

Celtic

Armstrong has looked out of sorts so far this season but, against St. Johnstone, looked much more like the midfielder who earned rave reviews last season.

The former Dundee United ace set up two of Celtic’s goals as he played his part in making history for Rodgers’ side.

Although he faces competition for a place in the starting XI from Ntcham, when he is on form, Armstrong has shown he deserves a regular starting jersey as the Hoops look to extend their unbeaten record.

With some really big games coming up for Celtic over the next few weeks, it could be a timely return to form for Armstrong.
