Summer signing all over the place: Three things learned about Leeds from triumph against Burnley

Borthwick-Jackson is all over the place

When will the real Cameron Borthwick-Jackson stand up?

The left-back looked a super-smart loan signing in the wake of his early performances against Port Vale and Preston, including in an unfamiliar centre-back role.

Some were wondering why Wolves were so reluctant to use the Manchester United man last season, especially after he had made such a good first impression when Louis van Gaal and his clipboard were running the Old Trafford dugout.

But all is becoming clear. Borthwick-Jackson veers between the very good and very bad alarmingly easy.

He was error-prone and off the pace at Turf Moor and certainly had no reason to look so petulant when he was hooked in the second half.

The 20-year-old needs to raise his game. And quick.
