The win over Aberdeen helped the Gers record their first run of three consecutive clean sheets for the first time since April 2017 and in recent weeks the Gers defence has looked much steadier than it has in a long time.
Although there have been various personnel changes over the last three games, the Gers’ back line doesn’t see to have skipped a beat as they look composed and organised even when under serious pressure.
Graeme Murty said when he first took over as manager that he was a pragmatist in his footballing philosophy and – on the face of it – looking to have got Rangers’ defence all on the same page it appears to be working.
