Senior player must be axed for horror show: Three things learned from Rangers loss v Dundee

Scottish referees are ruining games too often

Rangers

There doesn’t seem to be any consistency from referees whatsovever and it’s taking any enjoyment left out of football.

A fresh air swipe by a Rangers player (Bruno Alves) merits a retrospective two-game ban but kicking and stamping on a Rangers player is only worth a yellow card when the referee sees it in real time.

Ryan Jack gets sent off for squaring up to a Hibs player and a Kilmarnock player.

Dundee player gets a warning from the same referee for doing to very same to Jason Holt.

And it’s not just Rangers either.

There’s not a week goes by now that there’s not some ridiculous refereeing decisions but there are more and more in games involving the Gers.

In other Rangers team news, the club has received an apology following some untrue stories that were written about Bruno Alves
