Even the most optimistic of Rangers fan will now surely concede that any aspirations of winning the league this season are well and truly buried.
With the Scottish Cup kicking off for the Gers in January, it might be worth shifting the focus to lifting that and securing some silverware before the season ends.
It’s hardly a consolation for fans that another season is over before the Christmas trees are being taken down but a trophy will make this season ever so slightly less of a complete mess.
