It’s only been two games back in the side but Wilson has been a brilliant choice for Graeme Murty after returning from the fringes of the squad.
The former Liverpool defender has looked much more composed and has given himself a real shout of more first-team games in the starting XI moving forward.
Alongside 19-year-old McCrorie, Wilson has used his experience to help the youngster through games and looks a much-improved player.
Wilson will face competition from McCrorie, Fabio Cardoso and Alves over the coming weeks but will surely have put his name in contention for more starts.
