26-yr-old must not play v Celtic: Three things learned about Rangers in win v St Johnstone

Halliday must not play left-back v Celtic

Rangers
Andy Halliday took Declan John’s place at left-back after the Welshman suffered a groin injury but Halliday must not be in the role when the Gers welcome Celtic on March 11th.
The 26-year-old did little wrong but didn’t look comfortable enough to deal with the pressure he’s likely to come under defensively against Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The Scottish Cup tie with Falkirk on Sunday will give a good idea of Graeme Murty’s thinking ahead of the clash with their Old Firm rivals the following week.
If Lee Wallace is fit then he needs to come into the side although hopefully the Gers still have some hope that John could even make his way back into the team before then.
