Star man must be axed: Three things learned about Tottenham in defeat v Arsenal

Slow start concern for Poch

It was quite clear which team were more fired up from kick off at the Emirates, and disappointingly for Mauricio Pochettino, it was not his men.

Arsenal looked much more lively in the opening half an hour, with Spurs constantly under pressure and seemingly lacking in energy.

The creative flow which has been present in their best performances this season was lacking, and the intensity needed was nowhere to be seen.

Credit to the Gunners for taking the game to Spurs – it most certainly had the desired effect.
