Graeme Murty has been in interim charge since October now and it is time the Gers board make a decision one war or another over his future.
It looks highly unlikely Murty will be the Gers boss next season but if that decision has been made by the Gers board it is time the charade was ended and Murty put out of his misery.
Next season is going to be hugely important for Rangers’ long-term health and the Ibrox giants can’t afford to get it wrong.
It’s unlikely a new boss will be in place before the season’s end but deciding Murty’s future must happen now – and a crunch meeting should be called for Monday to decide his fate.
