Murphy needs more games
The on-loan winger put in another good shift down the left for Rangers as he made his second appearance since his move from Brighton – but it’s clear the 29-year-old needs some more games to hit full fitness.
Murphy caused problems for the Ross County defence and could have grabbed his first goal for the club but still had little signs of rust after irregular football for Brighton.
Once the former Motherwell and Sheffield United winger gets up to speed he’s clearly got the quality to be an important player for Graeme Murty’s side over the rest of the season.
