Mark Allen needs one more piece in Ibrox puzzle: Three things learned from Rangers win v Ross County

Tavernier looks like a much improved player

Rangers
James Tavernier has never been a bad player since he arrived at Ibrox in 2015 but there have been times when there are some real problems with his game.
One of the biggest complaints around the full-back is his defensive work but in recent months Tavernier has looked much better defensively than he probably has since moving to Ibrox.
His relationship with Candeias down the right is arguably a big part of it as the Portuguese winger’s work-rate is fantastic at times and the pair have really clicked since Candeias’ arrival over the summer.
If he can get back to scoring goals at the rate he was in his first season at Ibrox he’d be almost perfect.
