Tino Livramento: Conte will ‘have a word’ with Southampton star and he’ll sign for Tottenham – pundit
Antonio Conte could convince Valentino Livramento to join Tottenham ahead of their rivals.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the future of the “top talent”.
This site revealed on Thursday (3 March) that Tottenham have set their sights on signing the former Chelsea full-back this summer – and have already made preliminary moves.

The Athletic claimed in September 2021 that the Blues have a £38million buy-back option which becomes active in 2023.
Spurs insider John Wenham told this site on Wednesday (9 March) Livramento could be the club’s right-back for the next decade if a deal can be agreed.
Kenny claims Conte’s previous success with developing wing-backs could convince Livramento to join Tottenham.
“That’s just crazy to me that this 19-year-old who has played a handful of games could be worth £40million,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“That’s the market though. For Tottenham, yeah, they could do with a player like that.
“They aren’t the only club who will want him though. Conte loves his wing-backs, doesn’t he?
“He could maybe have a word with Livramento and get him to Tottenham instead of another club.
“So that’s something to think about. He’s done really well at Southampton.
“He’s a top, young, English talent and if Spurs are prepared to pay the big bucks then fair enough.
“I think it’s a good move, personally.”

Livramento joined Southampton in the summer of 2021 after failing to agree a new deal with Chelsea.
He has so far made 25 appearances in all competitions this season.
