Wolves playmaker Ruben Neves has arrived in Liverpool ahead of a potential summer transfer, according to a reliable journalist.
Anfield HQ reporter Oliver Bond claimed on his personal Twitter account on Monday that Neves, 21, could be about to take a step closer from joining the Reds after it was previously reported by Lisbon-based Marcus Alves that the Portugal international was due to move to Merseyside.

It was reported earlier this month that Benfica’s Anderson Talisca is set to join Wolves as a replacement for Neves.
Neves has been in sensational form for the Championship title-winners this season after he became the second-tier’s most-expensive player when arriving from Porto for £15.8million last summer.
He has made 40 appearances in all competitions for Wanderers, scoring six goals in the process.
Neves has been a contender to win the Championship player of the year award.
The Portuguese ace was named alongside Tom Cairney and Ryan Sessegnon in the three candidates to win the award, with eventually went to Fulham’s Sessegnon.
Football Insider verdict
This could be one of the transfers of the summer already as Liverpool now look certain to sign Neves. The former Porto midfielder has been amazing for Wolves this season and was unlucky to not won the Championship player of the year gong for helping his side win the Championship title. Neves’ agent Jorge Mendes will clearly be a key player in this deal and there’s no doubt that he or one of his associates will be with Neves on Merseyside today. Wolves fans will be left gutted by this news – but this is what has to be expected with Mendes.
In other Liverpool news, the Reds are working on two midfield goal machine deals with one on the verge of an agreement.
