Tomas Soucek: Pundit hails West Ham star after development ‘I didn’t see coming’
Tomas Soucek has given West Ham a “massive boost” in their hunt for a place in the top-four.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider
Soucek, 27, scored as West Ham secured an important win over Wolves on Sunday (27 February).

This was only his fourth league goal of the campaign after bagging 10 last season.
As revealed by Football Insider on 11 February, West Ham are opening talks over a new and improved contract for Soucek.
Kenny insists Soucek’s return to form is a huge boost for the Hammers’ top-four hopes.
“That was a huge win for West Ham because Wolves aren’t too far off them,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“To have Soucek back to his best is a massive boost for West Ham.
“This is the point of the season when it becomes crunch time, this is when the games really count.
“I’m sure West Ham are hoping he can continue that form because we have seen how good he has been for them.
“No one knew who he was when he came but he’s been brilliant for him. He’s had a poor run and I didn’t see that coming from him.
“I know he’s had his critics so it must be good for him to be able to shut them up with that goal.
“Him, Bowen, Rice and Antonio all at their best makes that team a real force.”

Soucek has made 34 appearances in all competitions this season.
The Hammers are next in Premier League action against Liverpool on Saturday (5 March).
