Top clubs queuing up to sign Aubameyang after ‘big new deal signed’ at Arsenal – pundit
Arsenal will be forced to take a “big hit” on outcast Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January, according to Noel Whelan.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insisted the 32-year-old will have “lots of suitors” in the winter window.
Aubameyang has not been part of the Arsenal matchday squad during their last four fixtures following a breach of discipline.

The striker was stripped of the Gunners captaincy last week (14 December).
The Athletic reported (17 December) Aubameyang is training alone and away from the main group.
Whelan insisted Arsenal will reap the benefits of restoring “harmony” in the dressing room following the striker’s potential exit.
“They’ll have to find someone to take him,” he told Football Insider‘s Ewan Kingsbury.
“I’m sure there’ll be a lot of European clubs who would love to have Aubameyang in their side. He is still a goalscorer and a match-winner, there’s no doubt about that.
“Things have obviously taken a turn for the worse between player and manager, but there will be lots of suitors.
“Will they have to take a big hit? Probably, yeah, because he signed a big new deal only last year.
“But it’ll be worth it to Mikel Arteta to get that harmony back into the changing room, which is so important to Arsenal being successful.
“They’ll have to take the financial side of it on the chin for the good of the club.”

Aubameyang signed a bumper new deal at Arsenal last year which runs until 2023.
The Gabon international has scored four Premier League goals this term.
