Enzo Maresca relying on supporting cast to step up around Cole Palmer

Football Insider Verdict

With Palmer’s form taking a dip, manager Enzo Maresca will be looking to players like Nkunku and Pedro Neto to continue scoring for the Blues in the Premier League.

The French striker is one of Chelsea’s top scorers this season, with 14 goals in all competitions, but the former RB Leipzig man has only registered three goals in the league.

With Nicolas Jackson struggling to find the back of the net, and Palmer on the longest goal and assist drought of his career, there is an added weight of expectation for other players to perform.
