Barcelona winger Cristian Tello will rejoin Fiorentina on a season-long loan, according to a report.

Spanish radio station Catalunya Radio, via Football Espana, claim that the one-time Spain international will join the Serie A club on loan with the option of a £6.9million permanent deal next summer.

Italian website Gazzetta World reported in June that Jurgen Klopp was also keen to boost his attacking options by taking the Spanish winger to Liverpool.

The 24-year-old spent the second half of last season at La Viola, making 15 appearances for manager Paulo Sousa and scored two goals.

He has also had a loan spell with Porto, where he scored 10 goals in 57 matches.

Tello, who has two years remaining on his Barcelona contract, had a promising start to his Camp Nou career but it never fully blossomed into an extended spell in the team for the Spanish champions.

Tottenham have added to their attacking threat this summer with the signing of striker Vincent Janssen.

Janssen joined Tottenham for £18million from AZ Alkmaar earlier in the summer after lighting up the Eredivisie last season.
