‘Tottenham are interested’ – Antoine Semenyo update today
Bournemouth are bracing themselves for more bids for Antoine Semenyo in the upcoming transfer windows following his sensational start to the season.
Having signed a new contract that will keep him with the Cherries until June 2030, Premier Clubs have not been deterred from ramping up their interest in the Ghanaian.
Sources told Football Insider that Liverpool are in pole position to sign Semenyo as Arne Slot looks to bolster his attack even more.
Arsenal are also interested in Semenyo despite his expected extortionate price tag.
Andoni Iraola will be doing all he can to hold on to the number 24 after Bournemouth lost several of their major stars last summer.

Bournemouth should retain Semenyo in January as Liverpool amongst Premier League clubs in hot pursuit
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Cherries are fully expecting a flurry of lucrative offers for the 25-year-old in the coming transfer windows.
The confidential nature of Semenyo’s release clause will put some clubs in doubt over proposed bids, as the south coast side remain pursed lipped over how much it will cost to part with the winger.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast over the unlikelihood of the ex-Bristol City man leaving in January, I explained: “You will have Manchester United who were interested in the summer, Tottenham are interested, Liverpool are now supposedly in that race for him as well.

“I’m sure there’ll be others who will join the chase for Antoine Semenyo knowing that he has this release clause and Bournemouth will be powerless to keep him if someone does meet that release clause but, I don’t think anything will happen in January.
“If Semenyo continues to shine and impresses for Bournemouth there’ll be a number of clubs ready to make a move for Semenyo next summer.
“Bournemouth did a good job to tie him down to that new deal in the summer but they’ve got that release clause in there as well, so, if any club wants to meet it they’re gonna have to make that price and I’m sure it’s a hefty price tag within that release clause.”
Liverpool better off pursuing Michael Olise as Bayern Munich lethargic in contract talks
Given the doubts over Semenyo’s exact transfer figure, the Reds may consider upping their efforts to sign an alternative winger.

Sources told Football Insider that Liverpool are in the race to sign Michael Olise from Bayern Munich.
The 23-year-old is only in his second season in Germany, yet his outrageously good performances have caught the eye of suitors from across Europe.
Bayern Munich are eager to offer Olise a new contract to quash any transfer rumours, yet no negotiations have reportedly taken place.
This leaves the door ajar for Slot to tempt the Frenchman back to the Premier League in one of the upcoming transfer windows.
