Expert: Antonio Conte may now have special request for Hugo Lloris amid Tottenham latest
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte may ask Hugo Lloris to modify his kicking technique and play through a slight hamstring injury against Arsenal on Saturday (1 October).
That is the view of medical expert Ben Dinnery, who runs the Premier Injuries site and has a background in injury and data analysis.
Lloris, 35, has skippered Spurs in every league match so far this season, but he picked up a quadriceps injury in the 6-2 win over Leicester City before the international break.

As relayed by football.london on Wednesday (28 September), the Frenchman was therefore forced to drop of out Didier Deschamps’ squad for the recent Nations League double-header.
Spurs have not yet revealed whether the goalkeeper will be fit for the North London derby at the Emirates this weekend.
The North Londoners signed fellow veteran shot-stopper Fraser Forster on a free transfer in the summer, and he will play between the sticks if Lloris is not deemed fit enough.
But Dinnery forecasts that Lloris should be available, although he may have to alter the manner of his distribution.
“He’s certainly not ruled out,” he told Football Insider’s Adam Williams.
“It’s been put forward as a slight strain. With him being a goalkeeper, that works in his favour. He’s had a great start to the season, so Antonio Conte won’t want him to miss out.

“Even if he is feeling a slight niggle, he may still be asked if he can still play and have modified kicking. That is what exacerbated the problem, the forces going through that quadriceps muscle.
“But I would say, at this point in time, I am fairly confident Lloris will make himself available for that game.”
In other news, Alan Hutton claims Tottenham players will be “off-put” by behind-the-scenes approach.
